"That sounds terrifying," he admits in a soft breath. "The idea of losing your sight because of your dedication... I'm glad I've never had a problem like that. I only have to deal with confusing my sleep cycles, occasionally becoming more nocturnal. I never hurt myself because of my work."

The change in Adia's expression doesn't go unnoticed, though in his excitement he's not sure what he did to cause it. His thumbs flick off the edge of his desk, fidgeting. "I think so." Nerves setting in, he rubs his arm before thinking of a change of topic. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to talk your ear off. You wanted to talk about some things?"
