"I know," Adia says softly, more for herself than Paladin. She's often hardest on herself when it comes to these sorts of things.

With Paladin's assistance, she dismounts easily enough. She rubs at the small of her back while arching backwards slightly, then forwards, trying to work out the soreness, but even that brings back fond memories. "It was always like this at the start of the summer," she smiles, shaking out the stiffness in her legs. "I'll be fine in a few." She pats horse's neck with a gentle hand. "Thanks for the ride, Shadow. You're a good boy."
