Adia doesn't try to do anything fancy, having never run an agility course. It's enough to keep the horse at a full gallop for a minute or two before returning to a trot and following the edge of the forest. If she ignores the buildings in the distance and the strange sky of the Nexus, it's as if she's home again, riding worn trails on one of the stable horses, nothing but the smell of hay and creak of the leather saddle for company.
But there is only so long you can run in circles before both you and your horse tire of it. Reluctantly, she slows the horse's stride and turns him towards the direction of his owner. Sensing her ambivalence, the horse tugs his head a little, but a pull on the reins sets him straight again. "He's fantastic," she tells Paladin as soon as they are in speaking range. "A real pleasure to ride."
