"No magic," she assures Paladin. She pops the ball back into place and twists back on the ring that keeps it there. "Computers are actually very simple, at their core. It's the ability to make the parts inside of it smaller and smaller that has let them become more powerful." She wishes she could explain more, but she'd have to get into binary code and microprocessors. Paladin is very bright, but that's a little too much for one afternoon.
