Adia offers Shadow the apple as apology, although that might be her secret nickname for him from now on. "Your story reminds me of a pet budgie I had. A small parakeet," she clarifies, in case Paladin doesn't know what a budgie is. "I named him Minty because he was a pretty green. He knew a few words and liked to talk, mostly for attention. But you had to be careful not to swear in front of him, because he'd repeat it back to you."
