She didn't flee to the Nexus immediately. At first, she was just in shock. The cylons were back, except this time, they were running the government. A "coalition" government, but everyone knew what that really meant.

It didn't make sense to her. They hated humans. Why not just destroy them and be done with it?

Her boyfriend assumed it was some sort of elaborate revenge plot, or a way to salvage the aspects of humanity the cylons considered worth keeping. He wanted her to agree with him, to be red-hot about it, too, but Adia was too distracted. She kept seeing Caspar's face -- the one she thought she knew -- and comparing it with the ones she kept seeing, wherever she went.

She could tell it was bothering him, that her attention was elsewhere.

Later, in the middle of the night when she knew she wouldn't be missed by any humans, and prayed she wouldn't be missed by any cylons, she PINpointed to the Nexus.

She sat at a Nexus terminal and typed out a message for anyone to read.

The cylons are on New Caprica.

Only then did she cry.

"Maybe things can work out between the two races. If not... you are always safe here. In the Nexus."

"Maybe..." And maybe Zeus himself will fly down from the heavens and set things right. Still, the reminder of the Nexus makes her feel a little better. "I hope things work out on your world, too. I know Clark is really happy on Earth. The clones could make new lives for themselves."

"We hope to convert a few. But there are those that have no chance... that will cause us trouble."

"I'm sorry." She bites her lip, then adds, "I'm not... I'm not really in a good state right now, but I offered to Clark that I could talk to them, if it would help. I know what it's like to lose my planet and have to start over."

"That would help. I will definitely offer to those that want to start over. We don't have that experience."

"I hope you never do. Your Earth is... it's just wonderful." It's the happiest recent memory she can think of, being a bridesmaid in April's wedding.

"Thank you, April." She looks down at her PINpoint. "I think I'll just stay here a little while, then go back. I don't want anyone to miss me." That, and if she went back with April, she'd probably never return.

"Okay. If you need me, for anything, just let me know."

"I will." April's powers are helpful, but it's her presence as a friend that is most comforting to Adia.
