It does explain a few things about her and Caspar, though. He doesn't give a damn about the man's feelings about "drama", but it's natural to want to protect one's lover.
And despite mixed feelings, he can't help but smile at the way she lights up. That's just adorable. "I guessed right, then. I assume you will wed on your own world, but I hope you'll let me know when so that I may congratulate you."
