It'd be an easy way to rattle Caspar's chain, certainly. Not that the Cylon has anything to worry about. In fact, by the time Loki makes his implied inquiry, the distraction is put out of her mind, replaced with her quiet enjoyment of the cake. She missed her Nexus friends over the winter, but she missed this, too.
She swallows her bite, then takes a sip of mocha to wash it down. "Yes, I did, I -- well, I don't know how much I've told you about my world, but humans aren't the only sentient beings. There are Cylons, too -- biological robots. They are a lot like humans, but with enhanced abilities. One of those is the ability to create vivid mental projections and share them with other Cylons. They can't share them with humans... except for me."
It's difficult to express how meaningful this is to her without going into a much more detailed backstory, but it doesn't seem to unnerve her, this newfound ability. "I can create and share my own, too." She absently twists the ring on her finger, smiling softly. "It's nice."
