"Good idea," Adia says, lifting Anastasia out of her lap and onto the table so she can get up and retrieve her hairbrush. She opens the door leading to the bathroom, where Amelia might catch a glimpse of a sink vanity. Based on the products upon it (a man's razor and aftershave), it is probably more for Caspar's benefit, but there is a drawer where Adia keeps her hairbrush, and she returns with it promptly.

"Your hair is so long," she says a little enviously while she sits back down. Anastasia has already moved onto Caspar's lap and seems content to stay there for the time being.

Having heard so little of Amelia's home world, Caspar pays attention to her answer. "It's the same here," he tells her. "Although some of the buildings downtown have radiators. What was your world's level of tech?"
