"Oh, well... a friend of mine has three pokémon, and several months ago, he had to leave the Nexus for an extended period of time, so I sort of took over caring for them... they're so fascinating to me, we don't have anything like them where I'm from."
She could say a lot more, about how cute she finds them, or how much she admires the bond they form with their trainers and carers, but the man did ask the both of them, she wants to give Josh a chance to answer, too.
