To be honest, she had expected a little more of a reaction. He had been so concerned about her before, she was hoping to see some relief in those worried eyes of his. When he asks about Caspar, she sighs a little and sits back. Poor Josh. Caspar must have really unnerved him.
"No, I, um... I knew him from before the War. It's a long story." She smiles apologetically. "I'm sorry if he was giving you a... well, a suspicious look or anything like that. He knows how dangerous some of the people here can be, and he's very protective of me. I let him know that you're my friend, and you've been very kind to me. There's no need for him to get all weird around you. I promise he'll be better behaved the next time you see him."
