Do you have a favorite topping?" She shifts the weight of her messenger bag to her back so she can gesture to Amelia's books and notes. "Want any help gathering that up?"
Her friend's assessment of Caspar sparks another small feeling of surprise. Not because she thinks Amelia is wrong -- quite the opposite, actually. "Yes, that's... I think that's the case, too."

"I'll just have to keep showing him how much I love him in return," she says, her smile turning playful. "And remind him how far he's come."
