Josh’s vote of confidence makes her more emotional than she expected. She tucks herself further into the supply closet, wiping at her eyes. Josh has seen her at her lowest, too: scared and frantic in a maze of ice mirrors, heart-broken twice, not just over Caspar, but an entire planet. And yet he thinks that she can make a difference to her people.
