She starts to answer, then hesitates, a slight frown on her face. She feels like she understands perfectly Caspar's aversion to most people, but explaining it to someone else requires her to organize her thoughts first.

"He... doesn't like most humans. But even on the Chiron, when he thought he was human, he was very introverted. More than me, even." She worries her lower lip, thinking back to how quiet he was, how he only wanted to keep her company out of anyone on the ship. "He's used to people not thinking much of him -- or at least that's his perception. Avoiding others is his defense."
